Gingerbread houses with 3rd graders

I had a blast helping K's class with their gingerbread houses! I love the already put together ones that you just have to decorate! The kid above next to K had a village to put together and I just couldn't do it! We put together 2 and called it a day!

ornament day

I had the joy of going into Conner's class this year and making ornaments with them. I had all the supplies! I was also gently reminded they were first graders so we didn't use all of the supplies! :0)

Their squeals were all the reward I needed! This is a fun group of kids! I love that Conner still runs up to me and hugs me in front of all his classmates! I cherish those moments!

I had gone in the day before and got snapshots of each of the kids and the next day brought them with me and we made hanging frames with bells and painted popsicle sticks with their pics in them!

Let it snow

This pic was taken days after our first big snow storm in early-mid December! I am in the Old Navy parking lot! So parking lots are awesome because they plow all the snow up into these HUGE mounds! It is a kid's paradise! We are getting a huge storm today and These will only be doubled if not tripled! FUN FUN!!

So Conner's project for the week was to write and draw about what our family celebrates in December! I love his drawing! He tried to fit everyone from the Christmas story in there!

I was preparing for our Christmas party and found these two recipes on Pintrest! A double berry Martini and below is Rudolph's sunset! Both very good! Isn't the sunset so pretty??

The lil bros are getting a free ride. So now K loves to put C on her shoulders and throw him onto the couch! Their latest version of fun! I know it will probably result in an ER visit at some point but their giggles are just too cute!

First big storm of the season

Love that our playdates are right next door! We got a good 8inches to a foot of snow! Thank God I didn't have to work last night!

Santa

We went to the Santa party at Tim's work. I think this is the 5th year we have gone. The kids are so easy at this age! They loved hanging out with a bunch of people that we usually only see once a year! Below are the kids we two of Tim's partner's kids! They are cuties!

Kaitlyn and her daddy going for a walk at the start of a snow storm! After the party, we took off to check out the lights which weren't lit yet so we went out for a late lunch and just hung out together! What a perfect day!

Christmas card

This is quite funny to me. I did not do Christmas cards last year and this year I hadn't planned on it but Tim wanted some for work and such. I quickly got online and made some at CVS and it would be ready the next day. I made two separate cards. The one above is for Tim's work friends!!! Who knew there was a back side???? Obviously I didn't! Looks like the Grogan family noticed! So off I went to get something to tape over! It actually turned out pretty cute! I make myself laugh!!
