3 parks in 4 hours

 So the kids had MLK day off! We decided to take an adventure with a few of the friends. We went around and picked them all up and off we went. The plan was to get to as many parks as we could and then rate them. We made it to three that were spread out! This first park took first place!

 We played hide and seek for well over and hour! I was tired! I am definitely not as young as i use to be!

 Of course we had to go back to the park with the pond! The boys mother would have NEVER let me take them again if something happened to them! They were looking for fish and them of course sliding all over the place!

our trail

We set out for a bike ride after church on Sunday. Our favorite trail was covered in snow. I didn't realize they use it for cross country skiing in the winter. So we changed plans and ended up at a couple parks. It was Freezing!! BUT it was deserted and we had it all to ourselves!

 We got a little game of baseball in as well!

 The second park we went to has a huge trail around and through the park so all but one side was open so the kids went riding!

 So this pond is frozen........it looks like it but of course this momma freaks out because I don't want to have to rescue anyone! Tim and the kids were all over the pond and i just had to close my eyes!

I think it was 19 degrees out this night! What does everyone want when it is below freezing outside? Ice cream of course!

on the ice

 so all four of us went ice skating the other day. This was Kaitlyn's first "real" time on the ice. She was funny! This is the second or third time Conner and I were on the ice. We held our own. Sometimes skating can be painful! :0)

so kaitlyn "accidently" put pencil marks into our leather chair. She decided she needed to fix it with some construction paper and tape! What an inventive girl!

Conner's imagination! He set up all of his "cars" for a drive in movie. I like how he laid out sleeping bags for some of his "guys" and set them all up to enjoy the movie!

 So this is how we spent our Saturday night!  Who would have ever thought! I killed the first game and then got slaughtered the next!

 I was updating my picture frames and found these in the frame. Isaac just turned 5 yrs old in this picture! He is a cutie!

 Conner wouldn't take a picture so the littlest one in this pic, is another nephew....Daniel!

AWESOME DaY

 Conner has a new helmet cover! People would scream when he would fly by them and yell "SHARK!!!!" Let me tell you after 4 days my thighs were still KILLING me! These two soared! I couldn't keep up. My little sweet girl would wait up for me and encourage me! So precious! I stopped about 5-7 runs before the kids. They were playing in the terrain park! I couldn't handle it! I am proud of myself........ I didn't do too bad!

Our lake

 We love going to our friend's cabin all four seasons. This is where we swim. It is frozen now. The kids and Tim walked pretty far out on the lake. I am too chicken to get too far away from shore. Some locals let the kids go in the ice fishing hut! They caught some big fish! Pretty cool!

backyard fun

I like that the kids can bundle themselves up and play in the freezing cold without me! I LOVE playing with them but I think it is so cool that they can do this on their own! Our kids growing up!
