Isaac

Isaac was my first kiddo! I miss him and wish he lived closer to us! He is a really good kid with a gentle heart! Kaitlyn loves him.He would read her books. She just kept bringing him more and he really enjoyed it. I think the funniest thing she did was to tease him.Just like her mommy...she knows how to do it to the point of annoying. She would keep saying "Isaac" over and over for 5 minutes straight. I thought it was hilarious but it made him mad after a while so finally she would say," I'm just teasing you"' and then continue to chant his name! Crazy!! We had such a good time with him! I love that kid!!!

First Time for Everything

Before our visit here to California, anytime we would see something K would want, I would say,"Why don't we wait and see if Uncle Jeremy wants to get this for you!" So we waited and finally when we got here, Uncle Jeremy took K for her first experience with Building a Bear. She didn't start enjoying it until we were dressing the bear. Memories! Thanks Uncle Jeremy!

Uncle time

Yesterday, Uncle Jeremy took the day off work to spend time with K and C. He took them to build a bear and Kaitlyn made her first bear...Beauty is her name! He then took us to The Jungle. K and C couldn't get enough of that place. It is like a much better Chuck E. Cheese. They loved it and didn't want to leave. The little baby in the first picture is my nephew, Daniel. He is Kim's little guy. He is 9 1/2 months old. So adorable. She sure does make cute kids! K and C have had so much fun playing with their cousins.
So i didn't mention our flight out here. All I should say is it could have been a lot worse! We didn't get our third seat so we only had two for the three of us and it was the ile seats

Thank God!

So after 5 days in the hospital, Isaac was allowed to go home on bedrest! He had a lacerated spleen that has healed itself...well actually is was God who healed it. He has to lay low for 1 week and then can get back to school. He is bored out of his gore. I am glad we were here to keep him company! He is so good with his cousins!!

Prayers needed!!

okay, this is the second post without pictures. That is crazy for me. I wanted to get this out there so you all could be praying for Isaac, my nephew. He is in the hospital. He ruptured his spleen. So far they don't need to do surgery. He can't eat just in case and they are drawing blood every 6 hrs and just watching him closely!! He is only 7 and I am sure he is a little scared! I wish i could be there to hold his hand!! We will see him in a couple days! He will most likely be in the hospital for a week they say, so please just pray for him and my family out there!!

Batman

Tim has been working some time during the night. When K and C woke up this afternoon, they were a little confused. Kaitlyn asked, "Where is daddy?". I told her he had to go catch bad guys. "He is like batman!". Kaitlyn's response, "He is not Batman. He is my Daddy!" I agree with her He is much more important that Batman!!

Baby Fun

We had T and T over for a fun evening! K and C love babies and couldn't get enough of this cutie. He is four months old and his sis will be two in a couple months. We had a great time! Thanks for coming and playing!!

The Count Down

The counting down begins...well it actually began 20 days ago. We started this count down chain awhile ago and it has been shrinking.Kaitlyn loves waking up each morning and taking one of the links off. For those of you who don't know we are heading off to California very soon. I am flying out with the kids by myself and Tim will meet us out there several days later. My parents haven't seen the kids in 18 months, so i am very excited to get them out there.

Sixteen Hours...Actually 17 Hours!!!

So yep!! I keep trying to do these double shifts when i get a chance. Today was especially nice. I worked from 3pm til 730am this morning. Usually, Tim and I just swap out however he had to leave early so our AWESOME babysitter came at 6 in the morning and let me sleep for about 1 1/2 hr. It was great!! She would kill me if she knew i posted this pic of her. I took it this morning when i woke up. She came over to watch the kids in her pjs and not ready for pics. Since she doesn't read this blog, I think I am safe! We then we went to storytime at the Library and out to pick up a few things!
Here is a daily occurrence. These two are very sweet!

Can you believe it???

Conner turned 18 months on the 3rd of Sept. !!! I am not sure if I already wrote this but I will do it again...esp. since no one really reads what i write and just a hand full of you are avid readers of this blog anyway!! Conner is a tall boy for his age. AT least in the 95th percentile....but he is skinny....he is below the 50th percentile for wt. This kid is so full of personality! He talks up a storm although most of what he says we really only understand! I am not in a hurry! This is our last little one and I must cherish everything with him and continue to cherish my time with kaitlyn as well.

A new pet in town

"Baby" was created in our house last night! She is our new pet! Since we let our butterflies go, we have left a void in our house. :)
We now have Baby and Sugar (that is my turtle). It is actually a fun craft that Kaitlyn enjoyed doing. You take an egg carton and take one of the pieces off, paint it, "create" on it once it is dry, take construction paper and make a circle for a head, triangle for a tail and legs, glue it all together and add eyeballs. (Wow what a run on sentence!! oh well) We both had a fun time making it together.

Tangled

This is what happens when you play in the attic and give your three year old little girl a hand held fan. I turn around and find Kaitlyn looking like this and saying, " Mommy, I think my hair is caught!"

Brecklen

We had another fun play date today! We did everything.....dress up, dolls, castle time, sidewalk chalk, baseball, and sandbox play!
What an great morning!! Kaitlyn is usually a very good sharer, however today was an exception....let's hope its and exception instead of what is going to become a norm. The other mom reminded me of some good points. I need to remember she is learning and i must foster the learning and actually do more teaching. Its our job! I was just hoping she would be perfect without any help from me..hahahahaaaa!!

Past time

It was perfect baseball weather last night. Kaitlyn is getting really good at T ball. Conner is hilarious...he just walks up to the T and taps the ball off and thinks he did this awesome feat with a huge smile on his face. Kaitlyn can really smack that ball far.
The last pic is of the kids after they discovered Barney! We usually don't watch TV but last night was just a TV kind of night!

Wonder what I do all day?

I am so blessed to get to spend my days surrounded by these two little ones! They are growing up so fast. I would like to freeze this time in my memory! Each stage is such a new adventure! I love it!! I praise God everyday for the blessing of having this opportunity to be a mom. I definitely don't take it for granted!! Our family is completely blessed!

Finished Product

I thought I would post these awesome projects my hubby has now completed. I think it is amazing that he took on such a big feat without any prior knowledge of brick work and WALAAA!! He finished it awhile ago but i forgot to post any pics. The steps he just finished putting together. We hope to get a gliding swing or something to go on the patio. For now it works really well with the sandbox! I think it looks great and he did a terrific job!! He is my handyman!!
