New Growth

I was surprised to see one of our rose bushes we planted a couple months ago come to life. This is our first Rose! So exciting. then of course I have a couple daisies!

It is a hot one

This was taken the other day when it was 80+ degrees out. Kailtyn found her snow boots in her closet and this is how she looked the rest of the night! She thought she was hilarious. This is her in mid--"fake" laugh!

Let's Party

We celebrated a birthday for Emma and Reece. Our friends. It seems like there are a lot of twins around here. They hosted the party at a jungle gym. It was fun. The kids ran themselves ragged!
On a side note: We went to church prior to the party. Our church gives the sunday school teachers the summer off. So that means Kaitlyn either comes into the service with us or joins Conner in the nursery. We kept her with us and she did really well. I would imagine it is hard for a three year old to stay still, quiet and controlled for an hour or so. She did good!!

another nice day

After swimming we came home and did it again. I love hanging out in the yard. Tim was doing another project and we were lounging around the pool. Our neighbor friend came up to join us for a little bit. She has taught Kaitlyn how to do some more poses.

Swimming again

So we are at it again. REally it is Tim's excuse to get into a pool! He loves doing this with Kaitlyn. It is just their bonding time.
This pool is really awesome! It is the same one we were at last Nov. but without the bubble around it. Now it is an outside pool. Pretty cool! They had a good time and Conner didn't mind waiting for them to finish. We are only doing it for the next 6 saturdays. All the pics of Kaitlyn had Tim in it so since i promised him i would not put him on this blog I had to crop him out. This makes it where i can't post tons of good pictures with them in it together. Oh well! Your lost! ha just kidding.

Farm adventures

Kids are down for a nap right now. I wish i could fall asleep. I either have a head cold or allergies. Pollen is crazy here right now! Not that i have ever had allergies but who knows! Anyway, we took off this am. We were just going to go to this popular park in a couple towns away. We went and had fun and then i came up with a great idea. Let's go have our picnic lunch at the nearby farm. We had so much fun. We didn't spend a dime except for the gas. Although if i carried cash we would have had some ice cream. This was better than the local zoo. They had a great time with the animals. We have to go back with Tim to pick strawberries. That is Tim and Kaitlyn's thing to do! It is so cute!

Conner

So i thought i would post a pic of Conner. I don't want anyone to think i am neglecting him. Kaitlyn just poses for more pictures..plus she is awake more than Conner. Well here is our big guy. He is wearing 18 month clothes. He is a tall boy but he is skinny. His short don't like to stay up and his shirts are a little too short. So we improvise. One of you nice folk bought Conner this shirt when he was born. This is the first he has worn it and i think i might have waited too long. Well if we were still in San Diego he would have worn it more. He looked like such a little fellow in it. I wish i could give him a little bro or sis. He has been carrying Star around when K isn't holding her and he has been hugging it and kissing it. Loud kisses. He is so loving. We also have several friends that have newborns so he gets a kick out of looking at them and trying to touch them. This kid is awesome!!

Hand me downs!

Here is Kaitlyn's baby, Star. We went into the attic yesterday and rummaged through some of K's old clothes. We found some of her preemie sleepers. Star has now inherited many new outfits. I can't believe Kaitlyn used to fit into these. It brought tears to my eyes. She was so tiny!! What a miracle!

First Pet in our house

CATEPILLARS!! We are tying out our new pet. If we haven't killed them already they should be making cocoons around themselves soon. Then we have to move them to the butterfly house. It will be so cool when the butterflies come out! We are excited!

3 years/15 months

Here are some of the shots we were able to get on photo day. Conner will stay in one place for a second after i sit him somewhere and then he thinks it is a game and starts running for me behind the camera. So we were only able to get one shot of him. Oh well! We will try again!

Here they go! This is how the evenings usually go. Conner likes to tackle Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn likes to hug Conner so tight his head almost comes off. Fun times in this house!

Decorations

So we had our big girl's birthday party this past Sunday. We had 90+ degree weather with 50% humidity. It was awesome!! No complaints from me. It seems like this year we went straight from winter to summer. I miss spring but we will have it next year. Anyway, We hung outside the entire time. There were 10 little guys running all around. It was fun!!

Look who is 3!!

I am in shock that our little one is 3 now!! She is so much fun! Three is an awesome age! We went to the Zoo and then home for naps. For dinner we found a little dive, a drive in place..ordered burgers and ate them in the forrest! We came home for choc cream cheese pie and to open presents then out to the sandbox! What a day! Now we are looking forward to the big party on Sunday afternoon!

13 more years

Kaitlyn loves cars! She loves to drive!! She can spend hours in the car messing around. This is her waiting for me this morning to get everything ready.
