What a difference 2 months make

Look how different Conner looks in two months. Kaitlyn hasn't changed that much...she still loves just playing with her brother!!

Lady in waiting

I don't know if any of you remember how Kaitlyn will wait on the bottom step for me when I am up stairs but this is K waiting for me at the top of the basement steps. She lays on the floor and just waits usually saying "mami,mami, mami" until i return. She still is pretty obedient.....we'll see how long it lasts!

Fun times

Aunt Rachel and Uncle Mark had to leave us yesterday! We had such a great time with them!

They are the Cranium champions!! We are going to be practicing so watch out next time!!

Happy Dad's Day

Kaitlyn and Conner can't get enough of these two. When they first arrived, you could just tell Kaitlyn remembered them. She was a little confused when they first got out of the car but then her face lit up. They both are so good with the kids.

Waterslides

Uncle Stinky and Aunt Rachel were here for the weekend. We enjoyed a lot of fun activities. One day we went to the water slides. Kaitlyn started to get a hang of the water slides about half way through the day. She had so much fun. She was exhausted by the end of the day.

First Haircut

So many people think it is crazy to cut his hair already? Well we didn't! Conner was sweating so bad on his head and his baby hair was trying to come out and was all patchy so we decided to help it along. We love it. His little bald head is so cute! He was so good during the whole event. He didn't say a word and just sat there like he was enjoying it! The bumbo chair worked out great!

This top pic was kaitlyn's choice. She likes to put the dog on top of conner. He doesn't seem to mind. Can you see the rim around the back of his head in the first pic? I posed him below so you could get a better idea ! He still has a furry mop on the top!

Bumbo Fun

So we had a gift card to babies r us and i thought what the heck lets get it! So Conner now joins the millions with the bumbo seat! He loves it and he can hold his head up for awhile then it starts to bob a little. He is only three months so i will cut him some slack.

Movie Star

Kaitlyn loves getting mail and especially presents. Uncle Jeremy sent a box ( new van tennis shoes). Mommy was feeding Conner, so we couldn't open it until Conner was full. She is used to watching us open boxes with knifes and scissors. Kaitlyn ran over to her Dora kitchen and came back with a fork and attempted opening the box herself. That didn't work so she went back and came back with a different fork. She was determined.

Kaitlyn was very excited and happy with her present! Thanks uncle Jeremy!!

2 year old check up

So the joy of turning 2 brings more shots! Only 2 shots this time! We had been preparing for this.....

I had Conner strapped in the front pack and tried to provide comfort for Kaitlyn. It is so much fun having two kids and trying to figure out how you are going to get things done. I think three kids will be even more fun. Someday maybe!! Anyway, it took Kaitlyn a while to warm up to the doc. She was pretty clingy!! Finally she warmed up and when she did it was then time for her shots! So we got through that and then had to go get some blood taken. I think it is so silly that they take it out of the kid's finger. It would go by so much faster if they would just put a needle in their arm. Instead they sit there after pricking the finger and milk the finger for 5 minutes when if they would have stuck her it would have been over in a minute or less. They put two band aids on her finger and she is walking around like it is broken or something. Very funny!!

So now tomorrow it is mommy's turn to go back to the haunted doctor's office. I definitely have a mistrust of doctors and the medical profession in general. So we will see what the doc has to say!

OUCH! She forgot about her shots real quick! Mommy had to kiss the finger a million times. I think it is pretty cool. Kaitlyn doesn't cry when she gets hurt....for the most part. Whenever she falls,gets hit, stubs a toe scraps a knee or any injury she gets up, dusts herself off, and comes over to mommy or daddy and has us kiss the injured body part. It is getting pretty funny because whenever the baby, daddy, or mommy hurts she puckers up to kiss the wounded. It has gotten out of control. Now when we are out in public and she steps on our toes she bends down and kisses our toes. It looks like we are just making her kiss our precious feet. She is just hilarious!

ZOO

Kaitlyn had a great time at the Zoo on her birthday. Conner could careless! It was a very pleasant morning!

Look Who's 2

We had a small party at our place this year!! It was Fun!! Just the four of us!
Kaitlyn had a Dora cake! She loved it! It almost came out perfect except I couldn't find the right color brown so she ended up a dark!

Conner turns three months tomorrow and look at him. I love this pic of him on Tim's lap. He sat straight up like this for awhile. He enjoyed Chuck E. Cheese as well. He went from a Red sox fan by day and an A's fan by night!

Chuck E. Cheese

We took Kaitlyn and Conner to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate Kaitlyn's 2ND birthday!

She had a blast! She was scared of Chuck E. at first but then she warmed up. Kaitlyn was playing with other kids. She went up to one little 4 yr old girl and held her hand and then puckered up and started at her until I said maybe later. We thought this would be a good place to celebrate since we don't really know anyone yet...at least not to invite to a birthday party. Maybe next year! This time last year, we had a huge party in our backyard on the beach in Solana Beach. Wow, how things change in a year!
