Family

 Since this is a private blog now, I guess C won't mind me posting these pics. Plus she has a gorgeous family! We are  hoping to at least see half of this clan in June! The kids will have soo much fun with Riley and Colton!  Look how grown up R is now! Soon to be 9 yrs old!

 And look at this chunky monkey! I can't wait to meet him and kiss all his rolls! He looks like such a happy baby!

Our babies are practicing for our baby! Precious huh? One minute precious, the next minute trying to clobber each other in true sibling fashion!

Mom's Night Out

 good times with friends at a very cool Winery! Yep we have them here in New England too!  We had a nice tour and tasted several wines. Fun night! We've got to do this again soon!

15 weeks!!!! YEE HAAWWW!! Our baby is growing! WE are beyond excited! Praise our heavenly Father for another blessing! Please keep praying for our surrogate and our baby! And here they both are! The picture is very fuzzy. Not sure how I need to go about fixing that but oh well. S isn't showing yet despite our baby being the size of an apple or orange! Pretty cool huh?

Busy Day

 And we had two soccer games!  Below is our little soccer stud! He has some amazing foot work. I love to watch him play. Kaitlyn is a little apprehensive when it comes to attacking the ball but she is improving all the time!

If I told you what our schedule was on Saturday, you would be exhausted!  Yep we are those crazy parents! The kids had a blast with friends and so did we. Exhausted though!

a fist or a lemon

14 weeks this past friday! That is how far along our surrogate is who is carrying our little nugget! Our baby is about the size of your fist or the size of a lemon! Crazy huh?!!

Nerf Gun Party- Niko turns 7!

 This was a fun party! It gives me a great idea for Conner's next bday! I only wish we would have brought our own guns. It was an all boy party but Kaitlyn got to join in. The boys all ganged up on the only two girls!

change of plans

We had been planning a couples night out with friends again. We had it in the works for about a month. Baby sitter ready and all.........then bombs went off and changed peoples lives forever! So as our friends were out enjoying each other, Tim was working and I was at home with the kids....glass of wine and Brady Bunch first season in hand. The kids were excited for this. I figured the brady bunch is much more wholesome than the shows on TV right now...even some cartoons.......They love it!

to the rescue

I was frantically trying to find a babysitter! With the bombings in Boston, Tim has been extremely busy. Barely home and if he was he was snoring.....LOUDLY! We are very  proud of all his hard work and continued hard work. People don't realize how much work there is still to do!  Anyway, B,K and S came to our rescue. They had the kids sleep over at their house while both Tim and I were at work. We are full of gratitude! Thank you guys! This was the kids first real sleepover without us in someone else's house! We were told is was an easy gig! Thanks again!

Nugget got a gift. First gift! Exciting! The kids love it ! We have put it aside for the little nugget! Thanks Grandma!

These two are fun to watch play! They have grown up together and it has been a delight to watch!

Discovery

 One of my friends took the kids so I could sleep after working a LONG night. How nice is that?!?!?! She took them to the discovery museum and they had a great time! She kept them busy all day! It was great if only I could have slept! Tim has been completely busy dealing with stuff in Boston from the Marathon disaster! He has been on the go since the beginning and will be for weeks! The nature of the beast! So proud of him! And so very thankful for a good friend!

a day at the park

 We met a couple friends at the park! WE spent forever there! The majority of the time we played soccer. There were about 12 kids playing a pick up game and me and another mom were the goalies! Good fun despite the ball that was kicked directly into my face hitting my sunglasses! OUCH!!!

20 inch wheels

 Conner got a big bike for his birthday--- hand brakes and all! I thought it would be hard for him to get started. His toes barely touch the ground! He is a pro and all his could keep yelling was "I can go faster than Kaitlyn now" as he sped around the parking lot!

 When we got home from the zoo, Conner set off to craft! Didn't he do a great job!

Trip to RI

Last week was spring break!  We drove down to Rhode Island to check out the zoo down there! It was a great trip. Before we left I searched the internet real quick to see if I could find a scavenger hunt for the kids to do at the zoo. I found a couple good ones. The kids thought this was great. This way we weren't running for one animal to the next. We could stop and enjoy each one. 

 These are the two hunts we did. These are Conner's master pieces. I love that he is an awesome reader and even though his hand writing can use some help, he sounds out the words and tries to spell them. He is a little smarty!

 The best part was watching them give the three elephants baths. It was great to watch and the kids didn't want to leave. We watched for about 45 mins. Very entertaining!

 We met up with a bunch of friends for lunch and then hung out with them for the rest of the day! That is when the scavenger hunt stopped! :0)

Camp

 Beth and Joe let us use their place on the lake for the night. We loved it! We didn't get to really enjoy it because everyone basically passed out after we arrived. Looking forward to this summer! They bought a pontoon boat! WHOO HOOO! Can't wait!

Cafe Noche

 After a long day of skiing, we stopped in for dinner at this fun restaurant. They had some very spicy food!  What a great mini vacation!

Wildcat

So our season pass lets us go to two different ski resorts. Last weekend we closed down the one we frequent the most. Lucky us......Wildcat was still open this weekend! I actually opted to hang out in the lodge this time. The kid and Tim conquered the mountain. It was snowing! Yep, mid April and the snow was beautiful! The sun broke through about every ten minutes. So it was cold and then warm and then cold! Just beautiful though. Check out the second picture. Aren't the mountains gorgeous? Mount Washington is off to the right in the picture. You might not be able to see it but truly beautiful!
