oh how fun it is to watch your little one grow up. Kaitlyn loves singing....so this preschool spring festival was right up her alley. All the kids in her class did such great job. I could sit for hours with my huge grin and watch them all preform for me. It was heaven. Tim came threw the doors right before it began. He has been in VA all week and he drove up Friday morning just to see Kaitlyn's 10 minutes of fame! Kaitlyn did the cutest little curtsey at the end. I loved it!

We're the best of buddies

She's growing up

Our buddy, Samantha, has had us over for the past couple days. We love playing with her toys...not so sure she likes us playing with her toys but she has been a good sport about it. Our kids love her!

"Wild Adventure"

I had promised the kids a "wild adventure" today! We accomplished it. It was in the low 60's today and just beautiful. We decided to head up to NH and take a hike. We had heard we could see waterfalls at this one spot. The kids ran til their little legs were so tired. I think this has been the easiest nap time ever. They went straight down without a complaint. Nature is truely awesome and I want our kids to enjoy it! We enjoyed it together today! Can't beat the fresh air....i think I am ready for a nap as well.

Last three hours

This is how we spent the last three hours. Our fort rocked! It actually held up and is still standing for more fun tomorrow! We read almost every book on the book shelf. What a fun evening!

My babies

Okay, spring is here!!! Look what all of a sudden started to sprout...my tulips!! So exciting! Today, the kids and I walked outside around the house spotting all the new growth we could find. I am telling you the winter here makes you really anticipate and appreciate the nice weather and just the little things!

Yes!!

This is just a hint of what I have been up to for the past two days. I am totally excited about it. I love when ideas come together into a masterpiece! Okay it is a masterpiece to me. I must show you it but i want it to be totally complete and I am kinda stuck right now so when it is done I will post it. Okay for all three of you who read this you could probably care less but I am excited about it!

Reacquainted with an old friend

Yep, finally jumped back on the treadmill! Don't know how long it will last but i figured if i blog about it then maybe that will make me want to do it more. The kids were hilarious. I let them bring in a few toys from the garage to play with. Between miles (that makes me laugh), I did squats. The kids did them with me. It really was funny but definitely motivating! Then when i got back on the treadmill, Conner ran in place beside me for no joke at least five minutes. He would keep turning towards me with this huge smile! I love these kids!

My leprechaun

Kaitlyn made this hat for Conner in school. He is pretty proud of it!
Am i a bad mom? I threw it away yesterday. St. Patty's day is over.

oopsies

This picture doesn't do Kaitlyn's legs justice. She has bruises up and down both legs. This girl plays hard. Then we have Conner who has chipped teeth, one tooth is grey from falling, and then tonight he walked right into Kaitlyn's door jam after saying good night to her. No broken bones yet...keeping my fingers crossed!!

Sad & Happy

I must admit, Kaitlyn has been a challenge lately! She is truly an angel but there are moments.......
I love her little face...so full of emotion and personality!

Introducing........

My new niece, Karis Hope! I love this little peanut! We have been able to video chat with the happy family of three but oh how i long to hold this blessed little beautiful princess. I know I am partial but doesn't she look perfect, angelic and absolutely beautiful? What a gift from God! I can't wait to watch this little miracle grow up!

Laughs

Kaitlyn and Conner turned on the photo booth and started entertaining themselves. The giggles were so loud and fun to watch. This went on for about 10 minutes. Conner got the biggest laughs from Kaitlyn.

So Bummed

My memory card wasn't in my camera. For those of you who know me, I love my camera. I usually have it with me everywhere I go. Now i realize I love my memory card!! Friday night was a special night. I worked. Tim and the kids had been planning a camp out for over a week. The kids have new sleeping bags. The three of them camped out in the living room in their sleeping bags. They had so much fun. I took several pictures. I went to upload them today and I've got nothing!! How sad am I? I also missed Saturdays pictures. We had such a lovely Saturday. It was beautiful out and we went to Newburyport to enjoy the beautiful day. Kaitlyn had a wonderful poise beside the water. Guess we will just have to imagine it! Oh Well!!

BUGS

The four of them were on the hunt for bugs....ladybugs. We found several. Of course, if they really wanted to find some, all they would have had to do was look in our house. The ladybugs love our house in the spring and summer!

HOOLA HOOPS

I am so NOT a pro at the hoola hoop. Must be part of me being rhythm challenged! So the kids are going to have to pick it up on their own. They tried for awhile today and then they ended up just rolling them down the driveway in a mad race. Whatever keeps them busy! The weather is gorgeous!!! We are soaking in the sun!

Conner absolutely LOVES swim lessons. He laughs the entire time! It is so fun to sit back and watch!

White legs

Yesterday, the kids and I were outside playing when Tim came home. It was gorgeous outside. Tim went upstairs to change and came down with a cool beverage wearing flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt. It was not really warm enough for that but if you know Tim when it is snowing he can be outside scraping ice in shorts. He thinks he is still living in San Diego. Anyways, we were hanging out for awhile and Kaitlyn had gone into the house to go to the bathroom. I was wondering what took her so long and then she comes downstairs sporting this outfit. We are all hoping for a long summer! Check out her white legs!

Who needs a playground...

when you have a stream in your street? We had a lot and i mean a lot of rain over the weekend. There was a small steady stream coming down the street and the kids loved it!

My Fish

Kaitlyn is doing so good in the water! She is so much more confident this year than last! I love watching all the smiles and giggles as she paddles and plays in the water. This session she is taking lessons with our neighbor, Vanessa and a friend of hers. Only three girls laughing and splashing in the water. It is fun to watch!

The old man is snoring

Snoring...something i want to be doing this time tomorrow. It has been raining all weekend! We are suppose to be getting some weather in the 60's towards the end of the week. Any day now we are going to be seeing our lawn turn green and my tulips will start springing up! I have lots of work to do in my flower areas. I am so not a green thumb but i do love color and beautiful flowers. There are streets that are closed and some parts of the river has been coming up into the streets. Lots of people have flooded basements. It is just gloomy. I am working every other night this week so wish me luck especially since I have this chest cold nagging me. Guess I might as well be at work during the night since i haven't been sleeping well anyway! AWWW spring is in the air!

Elmo Time

Thank you Aunt Brenda and Uncle Jeremy!! They gave Conner these Elmo PJs for Christmas which he LOVES and wants to wear every night! Today this cool Elmo backpack arrived, Conner has only taken it off once when we went out to eat tonight but other than that he has been wearing it all afternoon! He LOVES it!!

Click Clack Moo

Kaitlyn's school had their field trip today. Tim got to go on this one and yes I was jealous. They took the schol bus down into Boston, had lunch and then went and watched to play, Click Clack Moo. This is a book that I had never read! I hear it is kinda funny. Have you read it? I guess it is a popular book...i must be out of the loop.They had a great time, i just wish Tim would have taken more pictures but at least he got a few.

These are a the kids in Kaitlyn's class minus a couple. Conner had to get into the action. He is a honorary member of the class! He cried so hard when we had him move so we could just get pictures of the 4 year olds. It was so sad!

If you look closely, you can see Conner's front left tooth is greyish and turning black. I thought it was the tooth that has been chipped several times but it is actually the other front tooth. It doesn't hurt him it just looks funny. I keep trying to take a picture of it but this is the best I could get. He starts goofing around when i ask him for a pic of it. Thank God for baby teeth!
