Waiting

So Kaitlyn is still pretty obedient. She is just about to hit 2 years old in a couple months so we will see how long this lasts. She has learned the word no. It took her a very long time which was very fine with us but the time has finally come! Here is a pic of Kaitlyn waiting for me while i ran upstairs for something. We haven't needed to use a gate yet because she listens. I tell her to wait there and she turns around and just sits on the bottom step until i return. It's great!

And we thought it was over!

Last weekend we were digging outselfs out of a couple feet of snow. This weekend we hung out on our patio one day and the next ....well the picture show you. Just a light snow! thank God! Hope this is the last of the white stuff!

Look how big Conner is. Kaitlyn can barely hold him! Its crazy because Kaitlyn wasn't this big until she about three months old. Conner is three weeks old now. He weighs in at 10 pounds 14 onces and is 21 and 3/4 inches long.

Kaitlyn has not converted to a Red Sox fan as of yet. She found her daddy's hat and wore it all day long. She is following in Grandma's footsteps!

Sink time!

so he is probaby too big for the sink....but he is still all scrunched up so it works. I am just lazy. I just don't feel like dragging out the baby tube yet. Its like he is in his own little hot tub!!

Conner has already been taking boxing lessons from his dad! He is ready to go! He is such a big boy. Since he was born, Conner has been lifting his head off of our shoulders. He is just so sweet. He turned two weeks old yesterday. Time is flying!!

Driveway Fun

So it snowed!!! And snowed....And snowed! We got at least a foot and a half of snow. We spent the first part of the morning digging oursleves out. We also took a break for a little bit of sledding in the driveway. Kaitlyn is still not sure about the white stuff. She is so girly!! We hope this changes soon otherwise ski lessons next year are going to be rough!

Big Girl Bed

Now that we are back in MA and daddy has secured all the furniture to the walls, Kaitlyn has been sleeping in her big girl bed. She is growing up. We haven't had one problem yet. She stays in bed and doesn't get out. Except once!
The other day i heard some hammering so i got up to look outside to see who in their right mind would be outside doing work in this cold. When i got to the bottom of the stairs, I figured it out. Kaitlyn was knocking on her door to let me know she was awake. It was so funny. She was just standing there innocently knocking. So far so good.

Hospital Visitors

One big happy family

As you can see we are very tired and very happy. Its been a long journey and we are so blessed that things turned out so well and everyone is happy. We have so much to give thanks for. We praise God for our miracle!

Proud sister

Kaitlyn is such a proud little girl. She loves her little brother. She loves to hold him and kiss on him. I love watching it. This is when they first met. She also is a really good helper. She loves to help diaper him, shake his bottles, throw his diaper in the trash and burp him.

Kaitlyn loves to read! We had to get a new library card down in San diego so I didn't have to read the same books a hundred times a day. Even with new books every other day I still had most of them memorized.

Fun at the Beach

We had a great time hanging out with grandma in san diego!! Kaitlyn is a very dainty little girl. She hates getting dirty and if there is sand at the bottom of the slide you can forget her going down it until it has been cleaned. It will be very interesting to see how different a little boy will be.

Snow days

These pictures were from January. It was our first big snow in our new house. Kaitlyn was a little hesitant in all her snow gear. She really didn't know what to make up the white stuff. She didn't last out side for all. I guess since Kaitlyn and I were in San Diego the month of Feb. Tim has bought a snow thrower. He got so much snow while we were sitting on the beach!! These pictures show how mild it was while we were at home.
