Another year......

First grader, I love him! He had such a great day! K went over to a friend's house after school so I had him all to myself and he talked my ear off! He had so much to tell me about! I love that he Loves school! Hopefully it stays that way!

 A 3rd grader, really???? Seriously???? She is growing up way to fast!

Echo Lake

 This is such a beautiful setting!

 Mountain climbers were scaling the face of this mountain! So fun to watch as we lounged in the tubes!

Kangamangus

 I love saying that word! The Kangamangus!! We camped here. Right on the Swift River! so much fun! We played in the river all morning and afternoon....We found a couple secret hiding places that were fun to swim in and explore! That is Conner above. When it is hot outside and the boys want to keep their shirts dry.....on the head they go! Like father like son

 All these rocks can be a bit dangerous! Love how K is just looking out below!

 What a awesome Creator we have!!!! He is amazing. We were sitting around the fire talking at night and we were talking about black and white tv. Then we told the kids when we were kids the whole world was in black and white......oh boy that brought on sooo many questions. We explained that God eventually painted everything while we were growing up! Oh my the conversation got good! Of course we explained we were kidding. I love how little kids minds work!

 10 feet up and this little guy decided to scurry across! We had a couple parents walk by thinking we were crazy!

 After our river playground trip we headed out  on a 3 mile hike straight up to the ledges! This was a very challenging hike! A lot of sweat was produced and to top it off Conner had to lift boulders to help us get up the trail!

 All the sweat and tears were well worth it! The view was amazing and spectacular and this pic does it no justice!

 Kaitlyn was very happy to finally be resting at the top of the ledge!

Beyond Awesome Day

 Tim got home the night before after almost a week away so he took the day off to float down the river with us! Same river we kayak down but this time we took the lazy way and just floated. No work needed just kicking back!

 Kaitlyn was back to doing the rope swing and once we get her started there is no stopping. She must have gone off it 50 times! I did it 3 times! Pretty impressive for this lady! I think the family was proud!

 This was our ride for the day! We hooked up for a majority of the float and then the kids went crazy and did their own thing!

 Tubing makes it easier to stop where ever we wont even if it is out in the middle of the river on a rock!

 I jumped from here too! I guess I should get some pictures of me doing it so folks will believe I did it!

 Dinner at the Yankee Smokehouse! Great way to end the day!!!

Surfing

 What a great beach day. Both C families joined us and E came along. We spent the ENTIRE day there and it was great! SAd to say our beach days for the year are coming to a close! The kids start school tuesday! I needed a few more weeks of summer!

 The boogie boarding was WICKED cool!

 We were able to keep a couple of them in one place for a bit! We just had to burry them!

8 miler

We had the joy of bringing K's friend, L, with us on our journey! We had a perfect bike ride!

It is so beautiful on this rail trail. Love it here! We found 2 huge snakes, 2 frogs, and a catepillar. We have done better but not bad for a august day!

I made a ramp for Conner while Tim was gone. I used screws and everything. Of course I tried it out first and broke it! Then I decided to just pile it up! He loves it and wants me to set it up ALL the time!

Kaylee's party

 This is Kaylee. She was in C's kindergarten class! It was her birthday! Only the boys showed and they had a blast!
