Apple Crazy

We are going apple crazy here. We all love apples!! Kaitlyn is smiling apples!

Getting bigger

Okay...please no one report me! Conner is a big kid. He is tall enough and heavy enough for a booster seat. Our road trip is coming up and we wanted to try it out since it will be more comfy to seat in and lean back to sleep. He loves it!

SHOES

Our town once was the biggest shoe factory town in the US. We have soooo many now empty factories throughout downtown. They have turned many into lofts and businesses but several are still completely empty. Shoes is what this town was built on. Our town decided to celebrate this with old shoes each decorated by a different artist. They are scattered throughout town. 14 in all. Conner and I went around to 7 of them that are downtown. Conner loved it! What a fun morning!

We miss you already

Kaitlyn got home from school today and was very upset to see that I had put the futon back up and there were no pillows on it. She is so upset that Grandma and Grandpa are gone and she doesn't know when we will see them again. We had such a nice visit! It was loaded with fun!

Field Trip on the Big Yellow Bus

Oh I love pictures. I could have posted sooo many more pictures but I thought I better scale down. We went with K's school to the apple orchard. We have tons of little farms out here. We went on a hayride, picked apples, fed the sheep and goats the apple cores, had apple cider and apple donuts, then played on the play ground and took the bus back to school. I love going on field trips. The kids are hysterical! Another beautiful day!

More Puddles

So we had perfect weather today and on Saturday but Sunday was all rain. We all went on a long walk with Grandma and Grandpa. We love puddles. The kids were soaked after we returned! Then it was date night for Tim and I while the Grandparents are here. It was really nice. Thanks guys!

Lobster

WE love having Grandma and Grandpa around for many reason.....one if them is they always take us out to get the best food. We went to Kaitlyn's soccer game on Sat and then headed out for a day trip. The weather was perfect! We went to a little coastal town and had a lobster dinner. We were able to each pick out our own little guy and then they took care of the rest. The kids thought this was so cool. What am i saying...we all thought this was so cool. It was the best lobster Tim and I have ever had! YummmmmmO! Then we had ice cream and came home to have a bon fire. A perfect day!

Not so much

So soccer isn't all peachy! Kaitlyn loves her mommy. It would be perfect if we could just drop her off and leave her. Then she would probably be the star of her team.....well she would do a lot better. Last week she scored a goal this week she kicked the ball once. So yes you see i am out on the field. Yep I am the only parent out on the field playing with a bunch of four year olds. Kaitlyn insists on holdig my hand. We have tried everything. She always does better at everything if we aren't there. Oh well. Memories...we are building memories! I have a hard time while I am out there not kicking the ball. I have to remember I am playing with 4 year olds and I am not suppose to kick the ball. Oh well. we are out for 3 weeks...we will miss team pictures. I am not complaining.

My first quiche

So we haven't tasted it yet but doesn't it look pretty!!I A lady at work gave me the recipe after she had brought one to work! That quiche was sooo awesome! Not sure if it was really just that good or if it was so awesome because it was 230 in the am! Thanks Beverly!

Conner loves this girl

We all do....she is our favorite little baby! Our neighbor "NaaaaNa". She will be one year old in a little over a month. Boy does time fly!

My 4 year old......

.....is growing up! I miss my baby but i love my little girl. She can be challenging at times but she is such a blessing. She was willing to let me shoot a few pictures while we were playing outside yesterday. My love for this little girl runs so deep! I am sure she will have issues when she grows up from me kissing on her soooo much! I worked the other night so when nap time came and Kaitlyn asked me to lay with her for awhile I just crashed there next to her on her soft bed. As I was drifting off to sleep she says," Mommy, I am going to marry Dylan! I love him!" Oh my did this wake me up. She must wait until she is 26 or so before she gets married! I might have my hands full! HA!

U2

It was awesome! Yesterday, we tailgated allllllll day! The friends we went with really knew how to tailgate. Within minutes of us being there they had everything set up and ready to go. Food was good. Company was fun. The concert was great! Lots of old songs! Bono even sang Amazing Grace which I thought was great! Despite the pictures we had pretty good seats. One of the friends we went with got to stand in the center circle. Tim and I hadn't been to a concert since college (well we can't count the Celine Dion concert I dragged Tim to in LV---horrible). It made me feel young again! The only problem was we spent more time stuck in the parking lot tryin to get out of there than we did in the concert. We had a great date night! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for babysitting!

Sunday School

We love our church! We always have a good time and it has so much for the kids. We took Grandma and Grandpa with us this past Sunday. Kaitlyn and Dylan (her little friend) walked in hand and hand. How precious!

Game # 2

This week went even better than last. Kaitlyn scored a goal! YEA!!!! IT wasn't raining just a little windy but the sun was beautiful! Kaitlyn made a new friend and was cheering her team on saying, "Go BULE!!!!" from the sidelines. They gave high fives and team cheers. It is so fun to see! I love the first picture poise!!

come and get it

We had our first yard sale ever! It was fun. Grandma and Grandpa were there, neighbors came over, Kaitlyn played at the neighbors house all day, Conner took a nap most of the day, there was sun, and we sold some of our antiques( or junk however you look at it). It was a really good day. I wish more people would have come but now i have to get busy with listing things on craigs list. It was a great experience!

piles

Conner loves to collect all of his stuff animals that are in sight and pushes them around. When it is meal time and he is told to get to the table, he finds the grocery cart( aka: carriage, new england term) and it has to accompany him to the table to sit beside his chair and the animals watch him eat. It is cute but can get frustrating as you wait for him to get all of his stuffed animals together!

A Day on the FArm

After apple picking we went hunting for some raspberries! We checked out the pumpkins, sunflowers, and tractors. And we finished it off with a apple donut! Yummy!! Just another fun family day. Building memories!

Apples, Apples and more Apples

We love apple picking. Every year since we have go apple picking at least twice if not more. It is just so fun around here. All the local farms are so family oriented. Have I mentioned how much Conner LOVES apples. He loves them!! He must have eaten 5 apples while we were picking. He gets so close to the core if he doesn't start eating the core. These two were just so excited. It was nice going during the weekdays instead of the weekend. Tim had the day off and it was so nice and relaxing! Now it is time to start making the pies.
