Can you believe it?

A friend at work's boyfriend owns a candy business! Yep, deadly for me! However, this is the first time she has brought in samples for us! These lollipops are his best seller. Being up here in Maine and all kinda makes sense I guess! Conner said, " I LOVEEEEEEE LOBSTERS!"I of course had to have myself one as well. Look at mine...they have those really tart licorice candy on one side! Yummy! This is taken after being up for over 24 hrs and having just finished a 12 hr shift....can you say tired? Well I certainly can today because I went back the next day will working on 2 hrs of cat naps on the couch.....I'm still up today but I took a two hour nap while C was in school. Let's see...that means I got up at 0630 on Monday morning and it is now Wednesday at 3pm and I still haven't gotten anything but a couple cat naps......I am looking forward to my bed tonight!!! I'm only writing this so I can document it so one day I can say, " how in the world did I do that?" My answer will be only by the grace of God! I am definitely blessed with a job that I can do and the kids barely ever notice I am gone!

Our big ants showed up in our mailbox yesterday. I got them all inside their habitat before any could escape...i was pretty impressed by myself! :0)

They have already started to make their paths throughout their home. I will take a pic soon to show you! The kids are getting a kick out of them!

this wouldn't happen in Cali

Our city is ridiculous!!!! This is a house down the street from ours. They are moving out. See all that trash? That isn't even their recycles. People often leave stuff out a couple days before trash day so people have a chance to take the stuff before the trash guys do. We have seen whole beds, toilet, tvs...basically people's entire houses out on trash day! It is sooo trashy! Anyway, did you know that the garbage truck takes all of this stuff? They take all of it! However, when Tim puts out 5 pieces of our old deck they refuse to take it!! Crazy town!

One hour in a very hot gymnastics center.....it was sooo humid that day and inside was crazy. This little monkey's head was a soppy mess!Kaitlyn loves V's cousin, Y!

lot preschool stuff

Seriously, Can anyone guess what kind of hat this is? I bet Grandma will know right away! So they had read a story in preschool and then made this. Conner is so proud of everything he makes in school and wants to keep it all. He finds a place for everything and i mean everything. I have to sneak it in the trash after awhile and the when he cant find something....watch out! :0)He wore this hat for a couple days straight! Johnny Appleseed!

Fully protected

Parents who are community workers have been coming into k's class to talk about their work. I decided not to volunteer since I know there are like at least 15 moms who are nurses. Sure enough one of the nurse moms came in to give a little speel today. K came home with these gloves and this mask. She thought they were needed to sharpen a pencil!

Can't wait to see what props Tim brings in in a couple of weeks when it is his turn to give a little presentation. Should be interesting!

J and J got to come over today! These two are pretty cool kids. They all played so nicely together. Who needs toys and cool stuff when you have dirt and water? They played in this mud puddle forever!
Guess Who? This is a fun game! Oh have you tried MasterMind for kids? It is a pretty good one too! I think it is my favorite this week. Although, Disney Scene it, did pretty well this week too!

The Wheels on the bus

Getting ready for their big yellow bus ride!Oh how excited he was!!! He told Kaitlyn "Sorry you can't go this time!"
J, Conner's buddy...... Can you see the excitement? He told me the rules for the bus on the way to school yesterday. He told me there wouldn't be seat belts so they had to be safe and stay on their bums. Not sure how well that went with a bunch of 4 year olds!
The ride was bumpy! The kids thought this was great.....I'm not too big of a fan but I wouldn't have missed this day!

Field Trip to the Farm

This was Conner's First ever field trip! He was so proud this field trip. So excited thinking he was the big kid.
What a perfect day! Yesterday it was beautiful out! Mid 70's and just perfect. Today it is raining and gloomy. I love hanging out with my little man! He is so fun and full of life and what a comedian! He thoroughly enjoys his friends!

The Baker's visit

How excited was I???? My (matron of Honor) bestest came to visit! It has been almost 2 years since we have seen each other. We talk almost every day but there is something about having your friend right beside you instead of over the phone. Her hubby is a pretty cool guy. Back in the day when I was living in VA and Tim was in Japan, I would always hang out with these two. They were a surrogate family. They considered me their first child! AWWW the memories!
We made them go Apple picking with us!!!
B did all the lifting on this trip! The kids loved these two!!!! They miss them already!

We really missed seeing the Baker girls ( all three of them). Boy we would have had sooo much fun with all of us!
Mr. B taught us how to break an apple right in half. We've never done that before.....who knew. I guess a lot of people......learn something new every day!!
I miss her already! We only had 24hrs....hopefully we get to go down to Orlando soon!
We can never get enough farm time in the fall!
I think K found a new boyfriend!

L and Em

We had a fun night. We played all day and then played all night. We had a bon fire and while the moms hung out, Tim took the 4 kids on a flashlight hike! They played hide and go seek and freeze tag. I totally remember it being so awesome when we stayed out way past dark and goofed off! Those were the days and now watching our kids enjoy it is so much fun!

Crossfit

Again, I wish I could post some pictures of Tim. This past saturday we went with Tim to a Crossfit competition. It was awesome! Tim did insanely awesome! We were so proud of him. The kids were cheering him on! Really cute! We finally saw a friend of the kids that we haven't seen in probably at least 3 years. He was so good with them. They found a new BIG brother!

Conner was stoked to being getting the computer all to himself. Usually, he has to share the screen with Kaitlyn. PBS kids has been all the rage!

Working hard

Conner kept Tim company while doing some projects in the basement. C was working pretty hard on that nail!

We had a visitor in our house....

and she took a nap. Doesn't she look angelic? We had to do a few errands and strangers would pass me telling me what beautiful eyes she had. Of course I couldn't take any credit for it but thanked them all the same!Then the four of us (including Rex) walked to school to pick up Kaitlyn and C.( our other neighbor).
My mom use to do this all the time...with four of us a year apart each. She would take us on the public bus and on all kinds of adventures. AHHH. I hope my kids have good memories of their childhood!
